Explore amazing trails and picturesque villages, bike along the beautiful shoreline, observe incredible views as well as wildlife indigenous to the area. Just 2-3 km away to the north, you can find Kalamaris waterfall, hidden in lush vegetation. On the other hand, about 3 km to the west, you will find Gialova’s lagoon, one of the most important ecosystems and one of the largest lagoons in Greece. It provides shelter to rare species of birds and reptiles and it is a great area for walks or bird watching. Further on, Polylimnio near the village of Kazarma is a unique “network” of 15 lakes and waterfalls, which is considered the most famous sights in Messinia.
